NJAFP Congratulates Members Named Top Physicians by South Jersey Magazine

Trenton, N.J.  ̶  Six members of the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians (NJAFP), the largest primary care medical specialty society in the state, have been named among South Jersey Magazine’s 2018 Top Physicians – an annual list recognizing the best doctors, as nominated by both patients and providers, across a variety of disciplines and specialties in the southern New Jersey region. Physicians Bac Nguyen, MD of Inspira Health Network and Thomas Plut, MD and Richard Levine, MD of Lourdes Health System were recognized for their work in Family Practice, Sports Medicine and Family Medicine, respectively. Family physicians Michael Albert Puleo, MD of Medford, James Crudele, MD of Moorestown and Thomas Marzili, MD of Marlton were included in the Family Medicine category.

“While all of our dedicated members provide excellent care to individuals and families across New Jersey, these six members should be proud of the outstanding service they provide for their patients that earned such respect from their patients and colleagues in medicine,” said Ray Saputelli, Executive Vice President, New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians.

The 2018 Top Docs list was featured in the magazine’s August issue. In order to compile the list, South Jersey Magazine polls patients to create a Reader’s Choice List. This year, they also enlisted South Jersey hospitals and health providers to nominate a collection of doctors they feel have made an impact on patients and the local medical community. Votes are then tallied and compiled into a comprehensive list of talented physicians.
