These short videos highlight the treatment principles and their applications for substance use disorder. Topics addressed include:

  • Effects of specific substances:
    • Alcohol
    • Marijuana and synthetic cannabinoids
    • Stimulants
    • Opioids
  • Treatment principles:
    • Most common treatment approaches
    • Evaluation and treatment for co-occurring issues such as depression and anxiety

Whiteboard 3: Treatment Principles, Part 2 (3 min 6 sec)

INSTRUCTIONS

  3. When you have completed all whiteboards, complete the post-test and evaluation
