Dr. Kevin Berg is the Program Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program, Director of Medical Education, and Associate Chair of the Department of Family Medicine at Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center. Since joining Mountainside in 2014, he has demonstrated exceptional academic leadership and currently serves as a Core Assistant Professor at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Berg is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and General Practice at St. George’s University. He has also served on the Board of Managers with the Hackensack Alliance Accountable Care Organization and is currently on the Board of Trustees of Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center.
Dr. Berg has received numerous accolades, including the Family Medicine Chief Resident, Resident Teacher Award from the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, American Medical Directors Association Futures Fellow, and Mountainside Medical Center Faculty Teaching Award.
As a faculty physician at Mountainside Family Practice Group, Dr. Berg serves as Medical Director and is Board Certified in Family Medicine with Certificates of Added Qualifications in Geriatric Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He graduated from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his Family Medicine Residency and Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at UMDNJ Rutgers-CentraState Medical Center. His professional interests include geriatrics, hospice and palliative medicine, and graduate medical education.
