Dr. Preethi George is a board-certified family medicine physician with expertise in clinical care, medical education, and public health. She trained at Miraj Medical College and completed her residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital Columbia University Medical Center. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Obesity Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine and is a Fellow of the AAFP.
Currently, she serves as Associate Program Director at Hackensack UMC Mountainside Family Medicine Program, guiding the next generation of physicians. She also holds multiple faculty appointments, including roles as Assistant Professor and Clerkship Director at St. George’s University, Assistant Professor at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, and Clinical Instructor at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Dr. George is passionate about community outreach, public health, nutrition, exercise, and addiction research, integrating clinical excellence with impactful education and advocacy.
