Dr. Patrick Norris Correa is a family medicine physician at Hackensack Meridian Health – Jackson Family Medicine as well as Family Medicine Residency Faculty member at Hackensack Meridian Health – Ocean University Medical Center. He received his B.A. at Fordham University in Natural Sciences in 2014 and his D.O. at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2019. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Ocean University Medical Center in 2022 after having served as chief resident in his final year.
Dr. Correa has a particular interest in medical student and resident education and has made it a point in stressing the importance of desired lifelong learning to his trainees. He was awarded Preceptor of the Year in 2024 by the residents at Ocean University Medical Center for his efforts in making board examination review a fun activity. In the same year, he inherited the hosting duties of the state annual New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians Resident Knowledge Bowl from the venerable Dr. John D. Ruiz after his retirement from the event after at least a 20-year run.
Dr. Correa has a special interest in the field of Sports Medicine and does knee injections and shoulder injections in the office if indicated.
In his leisure, Dr. Correa enjoys watching football and soccer, traveling, and trying out new restaurants.
