Dr. Frank Aliganga, MD, is a dedicated physician double board-certified in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine. He is deeply committed to serving underserved communities and is an active Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), contributing to the advancement of the field of family medicine. He currently provides Primary Care services a Family Medicine Physician at Cooper University Health (CUH), is an Instructor of Family Medicine at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) and in Camden, NJ, and also has a role in CUH/CMSRU’s Family Medicine Residency program. He is also currently serves as the Chief School Physician for the Camden City School District.

Dr. Aliganga's medical journey began at the Charles Drew University Medical Education Program at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and he completed his residency training at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles. After his residency, he pursued a Fellowship in Community Medicine at Kaiser Permanente, where he served four Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and a Homeless Mobile Clinic in the Los Angeles area. Prior to returning home to South Jersey, he worked in a school-based community health center in Los Angeles, CA, where he provided care for at-risks youths and largely undocumented community. These experiences have greatly influenced his approach to patient care, instilling in him a strong commitment to addressing healthcare disparities and advocating for comprehensive, quality care for all patients.
