SPARC-HIV

Welcome to New Jersey's SPARC-HIV Program!

This initiative aims to create a proven model for public health detailing focusing on HIV prevention and care. Additionally, it will be designed to be easily replicated in healthcare settings in New Jersey that are not currently following CDC guidelines for routine HIV screening. We will implement sustainable changes in primary care practices that result in improved outcomes for patients being screened for HIV through identification of physician and patient barriers. The intervention is expected to result in increased screening for PrEP eligibility and HIV testing, referrals to specialty and supportive services, and uptake of PrEP and antiretroviral medications. Check out the SPARC-HIV website below for more information and to enroll in this exciting program!
